You know a scrap yard will probably give you a couple hundred bucks...I’ll give you $500 for it.

How fast was the picnic table going?

True story: A guy I worked with got a ‘72 Datsun pickup out of a field. Literally. Swapped the battery to get it running well enough to get home. Parked it and took his bike out for the weekend of riding. Came back there’s a note on the windshield. Some lady in a Jeep side swiped it, scraped the side and knocked the mirror off. He takes it to a body shop, they see the passenger side and already tell him it’s probably totalled. The damage is on the driver’s side. Insurance company cuts him a check for $760 for the damages, which did total the truck, but he kept it since it’s still a totally usable truck. Registered, got 6 months of insurance, rebuilt the carb himself. And he broke even. He was literally out zero dollars for a serviceable vehicle. Insured.

Look at the two horizontal lighter than black lines to the left of the bottom of the fog light.

Just grab a rattlecan of flat black like every other truck driver, nobody will ever notice or even care.

Hopefully you’re ok! Are you sore this morning? You better go see a doctor.
RIP Ram. I always thought those trucks were tough, how fast was the picnic table moving? :)
Are you going to replace it with another one?

Considering the value of FCA products and the condition they’re usually in, this shouldn’t reduce the value one bit, but you could probably get a large check from insurance and drive it until it falls apart with a salvage title.
![]() 05/08/2018 at 12:37 |

Oh man that is rough. Hopefully you have dashcam footage to show that the table was at fault.
